The Third Mission refers to a set of activities aimed at transferring scientific, technological, and cultural knowledge, as well as its practical application through direct interaction between universities, civil society, and the business world.
The primary goal is to promote the economic and social development of the territory, transforming knowledge into a tool for generating social, cultural, and economic benefits.
It focuses on enhancing, through application, the products of teaching and research, fostering dialogue, exchange, and mutual development between the University and stakeholders in relation to the territory and relevant social contexts, in order to build a knowledge-based society.
