PRIN(Research Projects of Relevant National Interest):
PRIN 2022 (project code: P2022WSY85) Mission 4 • Research and Education
The project aims to develop innovative educational pathways with teachers to assess their impact on learning, student outcomes, and drop-out rates. It also involves families to strengthen schools' social role, promoting inclusion, active citizenship, and lifelong skills. The goal is to combat school drop-out by analyzing the role of schools and teachers in preventing early school leaving and testing innovative practices in three pilot schools in high-risk regions (Sardinia, Molise, Puglia).

The ACONHE project aims to validate a framework for online educational assessment to enhance student learning outcomes through e-tivities. Designed for online, blended, and traditional higher education, the framework adopts a competency-based approach for reliable learning assessment. It includes an experimental model involving students from three Pegaso University programs. The framework will prepare students for competency-based evaluation and provide instructors with a structured portfolio documenting the learning experience.

The project leverages technologies to monitor and train handwriting skills, supporting students' writing development and the early detection of dysgraphia. It aims to explore innovative tools with tracking technologies to study handwriting evolution in children aged 5-7 and the interaction between motivational and emotional aspects through multimodal learning analytics and data mining. The goal is to develop new educational tools to improve handwriting, address dysgraphia issues early, and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Language for Specific Purposes (LSP) courses are essential in equipping professionals with the linguistic skills necessary to communicate effectively in their respective fields. Language educators play a critical role in preparing students for these specialized contexts.
The AILEM project aims to empower language educators by equipping them with the essential skills to effectively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into the development of LSP content. AI-based tools have the potential to support the creation of adaptive and personalized LSP materials in multiple languages, catering to the specific needs of various professions.
