Centre for Advanced Study in Education (CASE)

Research On Educational Neuroscience (REN Lab)

REN Lab specializes in research at the intersection of neuroscience and education, investigating how neurophysiological principles can inform teaching and learning processes.

Learning Environments

The research line “Innovative Learning Environments” focuses on the measurement of the effect of new technologies in formal, non-formal and informal learning environments.

Advanced Human-Technology Interaction (LAHTI)

The Laboratory for Advanced Human-Technology Interaction (LAHTI) collects multiple research activities focused on the utilization of digital technologies, its effects on cognition and behavior, and the development of opportunities and tools based on new technologies for the promotion of health, well-being and education.

Laboratory for Research in Social Innovation and Community Development (P.L.A.C.E.)

The P.L.A.C.E. Lab research operates in the field of community studies to help define solutions and intervention models, also through the integration of digital technologies, for the regeneration of places, the strengthening of the sense of community, the promotion of the agency of local actors, and the enhancement of local cultural heritage for sustainable development.
